Our story
We first met at work. One summer Ben traveled to Prague and "happened" to sit next to Manuela for a week. Sparks were flying from day one - Manuela remembers thinking in that very first week that it's either him or no one else.
Just two weeks after Ben left Prague, Manuela was on a plane to Seattle after Ben kindly invited her to stay in his Beacon Hill house…
From then on, we are inseparable.
A year later, Ben got down on one knee (or more dived in the water while she sat on a paddle board) and Manuela shouted YES!
Now, we’re planning our proper wedding in Poland in surrounded by you and all the love.

Hangout together in Gdansk. No real agenda yet. Will plan off of real time vibes - going to the beach, spa or just day drinking or dancing.
Detailed Schedule and to-dos
We all need a good to-do list, so here is a little helper from us for you:
Book a flight to GDA (Gdańsk, POLAND). Plan to arrive early if you can - don’t let the jet lag get you.
Book a rental car (at the GDA airport) to then drive to the hotel (maps pin). We will tell you which hotel you are staying in. Both hotels are approx. 1h drive from the airport.
Hotel is covered for one night (the night of the wedding 07.24.26 - 07.25.26) and check-in is at 2PM the day of the ceremony and wedding, check out is at 11am the next morning.

It is prohibited in Poland (no alcohol/substance tolerance), so please don’t take your car to the ceremony and wedding, unless you plan to be sober.
Morning the day after (25.07.2026) starts with breakfast at your hotel.
We (Ben and Manuela) will be driving to Gdańsk to continue hang-out with anyone who wants/can stay a bit longer.

Yes, if your kids are listed on the invitation that means we 100% treat them as equal guests to the olds. Give them kids some good memories with their fav aunt and uncle!

Minimum one Friday night (24-25 July). But we recommend arriving at least 1 day in advance. And then if you can stay in Gdansk after the official wedding. We will be there at least until Monday.

No, it’s a village. There will be 50 best people around - we all are responsible for keeping an eye on them - 90s wedding style.
